Position Purpose
 
As a Warehouse Specialist in this challenging and exciting position, you will be hands-on assisting with daily functions in all areas of the warehouse. While working with team members ensuring work standards are met and procedures are followed, you are to be a great communicator and have very good computer skills. Responsible for managing the storage, organization, and distribution of warehouse goods, while ensuring efficient operations, accuracy and complete daily fulfilment.  Setting the daily tone and pace to achieve desired results while creating an environment where everyone can succeed and improve overall customer experience

     Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities
  • Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining inventory integrity and following procedures.
  • Additional warehousing functions as required with an emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Dock Functions: Inspections of inbound and/or outbound shipments for accuracy and quality to meet proper quality standards.
  • Meet productivity and accuracy goals, assisting others to achieve desired results.
  • Order fulfillment: Pick, Pack and prepare orders for shipment, verifying that the correct products and amounts are validated and securely packaged. 
  • Equipment operation: Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, swing masts and pallet jacks.
  • Training: Assist in training new warehouse associates in job training, procedures, and best practices
     Additional Responsibilities
  • Review and complete necessary daily reporting ensuring SLA are met.
  • Follow-up with internal departments providing status updates.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Operations to ensure all materials for PC and Thermal are picked timely and finished orders are shipped as required by date.
  • Asist with development of SOP’s and implementation.
  • Proven track record for gaining results and giving recognition.
  • Complete required quality inspections.
  • Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  Education/Training/Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years Leadership Experience Required
  • Material picking & packing experience preferred
  • Inventory experience preferred
  Technology
  • MS office skills
  • Good keyboarding skills
  • ERP System knowledge- Review and Research work associated with assignments
  • RF Scanning
       Essential Physical Demands
  • Standing for long periods at a time
  • Lift and/or moving stock materials up to 35 lbs.
  • Pushing, pulling and/or carrying up to 35 lbs.
